from Engineer to Founder
Every hero’s journey starts with a call to adventure. For Alex, it came through his work as a cloud hardware engineer, traveling the globe for companies like Verizon, Ziff Davis, Edgecast, and AT&T. He didn’t just solve complex challenges in the streaming world, he became the human face of high technology.
But long before his corporate adventures, Alex studied Film and Video at the California Institute of the Arts, where he explored the intersection of storytelling and tech. There, he built immersive experiences that blended analog and digital worlds with live-action performance and technical wizardry, a creative foundation that never left him.
Alex is a polymath whose cross-disciplinary experience positions him uniquely to serve modern business demands. Through a deep understanding of both narrative design and technical infrastructure, he fills a critical market niche: adaptable, integrated expertise in systems for industries like manufacturing, media, finance, and aerospace. As the founder and CEO of Studio Compute he combines creative insight with engineering precision, delivering infrastructure solutions that are both high-performing and strategically aligned with each client's business context.
Simultaneously as Co-Founder for STAAJ Solutions and it co-brands, Alex builds bespoke marketing programs and leads go-to-market strategies that serve executive leadership teams in tech, medicine, and high-risk industries. His work is personal. The outcomes matter. And the relationships he builds along the way are at the core of what he does best.
Alex lives within the Hollywood 30 mile zone with his wife and children, where he engages, photographs and writes about a culture of tech startups, fast cars, bold coffee, and street theater. He continues to blend technical insight with the spirit of art-making. His approach is equal parts strategic and expressive, built on a belief that success is a product of creation magic.
And like any true hero, Alex is always chasing the next great challenge, the next human connection, and the next big story waiting to be told.
